3D DIGITAL SITE DOCUMENTATION

Buffalo Metrology provides LiDAR-based 3D digital site documentation utilizing our Matterport PRO3 to support planning, coordination, and existing-condition reference for industrial, utility, and commercial facilities.

These models deliver a high-fidelity spatial representation of equipment, structures, and access conditions, allowing teams to review and plan work remotely before mobilizing.

Our clients use 3D site documentation to:

• Support outage and maintenance planning

• Visualize access, clearances, and general layout prior to mobilization

• Coordinate between engineering, contractors, and operations teams

• Preserve existing-condition documentation before upgrades or retrofits

This service is not survey-grade measurement.

The 3D models are intended for spatial context and reference, not precision alignment or dimensional verification. When tighter tolerances or certified measurements are required, Buffalo Metrology’s laser tracker and metrology-grade scanning services are used.
